Nature Calls (not to the bathroom) #SOLC22

Today, I made a decision to put work aside this evening to join the sun and birds for a walk.  I needed that breath of fresh air and companionship.

This morning
the birds tweeted,
"Heather, come play."

Their songs, such temptation, 

yet I turned in rejection.

Sorry, birds, I must work.

Early evening light

beckoned me outside,

"Heather, come out."

The sun, a long lost friend,

so work I must offend,

Wait up, I'm coming!
